We focus on 8 different systems while performing a home inspection.

Inspections Made Easy utilizes the services of Radon Testing Corporation of America (RTCA) for their RADON Tests.  RTCA uses the latest technology to provide quick results.  Upon completion of the test the Home Inspector uploads the report directly to RTCA, within 24 hours RTCA emails the results back to the home inspector.

 

All RTCA radon tests are performed in accordance with the EPA guidelines. These guidelines require the homeowner to maintain "Closed-House Conditions" for 12 hours prior to the start of the test, and during the 48-hour minimum test period. "Closed-House Conditions" means keeping ALL windows closed, keeping doors closed except for normal entry and exit, and not operating fans or other machines that bring in air from outside. Please note that fans that are part of a radon reduction system or small exhaust fans (e.g. kitchen, baths, etc.) operating for only short periods of time may run during the test.   

 

There are 3 types of Mold Testing that we perform:

1. Visual Inspection -Initial step in identifying possible contamination problems
2. Air Sampling - The purpose of air sampling is to determine the type and amount of airborne contamination.

3. Tape/Swab Sampling - Tape/Swab samples are usually collected from visible moldy surfaces.

Our certified mold testing is completed by a trained Mold Inspector.  Our test results are provided by Pro-Lab.
